On Monday night we had one of the biggest nights in fashion: the long-awaited Met Gala. at the Metropolitan Museum of Art NY.
Every year on the first Monday in May, a host of celebrities gather in their most extravagant looks for a lavish party hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
This year’s theme was Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Awakening, and the party had a Garden of Time dress code, with many celebrities wearing stunning floral ensembles.
Among those who walked the red carpet at the star-studded event were Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa, Lauren Sanchez and Jennifer Lopez.
But of course, as is to be expected at any big event, memes have been appearing as social media reacts to fashion choices, and from the best dressed to the worst, no one is safe from the jokes.

To start, it seemed like Ed Sheeran had to choose between basketball and singing, as one fan compared his light blue tuxedo to that of Troy Bolton from High School Musical.
“I can’t believe Ed Sheeran chose to bring Troy Bolton’s tuxedo from the HSM 3 prom scene back to life for the #MetGala,” he joked.
The tweet racked up more than 5,000 likes, and other social media users agreed that the tuxedo reminded them of prom suits from the ’80s and ’90s.
Others compared the striking blue suit to the iconic ruffled piece worn by Harry Dunne in Dumb and Dumber.
