A man was found dead and a woman is fighting for her life after an alleged fight at a home.
A Victoria Police spokesman said a physical altercation occurred between two men and a woman in Bentleigh East, southeast of Melbourne, at 8pm on Saturday.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody.
He is currently assisting the police with their investigations.
“All parties are believed to be known to each other,” a Victoria Police spokesman said.
The seriously injured woman was rushed to hospital.
