BenQ, the provider of advanced display technology solutions, has launched ‘ideacam’. The company claims that the device combines the functionality of a webcam and document camera. BenQ has launched two models: ideacam S1 Pro and ideacam S1 Plus. The company claims that these specialized webcams offer multiple recording modes and good video quality. The BenQ ideacam comes with special features that allow users to express their creativity with this simple yet powerful dual-mode desktop webcam.

The BenQ Ideacam S1 Pro and the Ideacam S1 Plus are priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. Customers can purchase both models from BenQ e-store and Amazon.in.

Both Ideacam models come with four shooting modes: Portrait, Desk View, Hand-held, and Macro. Portrait mode is the traditional webcam mode, while desk view mode simply captures the desktop to display objects or documents.
The ideacam is designed with an intelligent auto-flip for desktop viewing mode, which automatically corrects after flipping, rotating and auto-focusing the image, enabling an easy transition between portrait and desktop viewing. Switch to handheld mode to take extreme close-ups or unique camera angles that a static webcam can’t and capture stunning detail by flipping on the magnetic macro lens.
The BenQ ideacam, with an 8MP Sony sensor and a maximum resolution of 3264x2488p, is a high-end dual-mode webcam.
