Ben Affleck will celebrate his first Thanksgiving since his split from Jennifer Lopez, and it looks like family will be at the center of his Christmas plans.
The 52-year-old actor, who is currently filming his Netflix crime thriller RIP alongside his old friend Matt Damon, is taking a break from the set to spend quality time with his children, a source revealed to People On Wednesday.
‘He is very happy with life. He likes to work. “He’ll be spending Thanksgiving with his kids,” the source shared, offering a glimpse into Affleck’s mindset as he embraces the holiday season.
Ben shares his three children (Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 11) with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, who took the kids out to lunch just a few days ago.
The family lives in the affluent Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, making it easy for Ben to be close to his children while filming in the city.
Meanwhile, J.Lo was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday with a tense expression, although it’s still unclear how she’ll spend Thanksgiving this year.

On Tuesday, Ben showed off his muscular body along with a radiant smile as he joined Damon, 54, on set for a high-octane scene.
Affleck wore a fitted gray shirt and jeans paired with a police badge as he chatted with his old friend, who was wearing a police jacket.
The dynamic duo were surrounded by cast and crew while filming outside a house.
RIP follows a group of Miami cops who discover a stash of millions in cash, causing friction when outsiders learn of the huge seizure, leaving them wondering who they can trust.
Affleck and Damon are producing through their Artists Equity production company which the actors launched in November 2022.
During Garner’s fun family date, she was seen having a lighthearted conversation with Fin while standing outside the theater, and then walked down an escalator with her son Samuel in tow.
Jen and Ben’s oldest daughter, Violet, is currently attending Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, after starting her freshman year in August.
Jennifer and Ben notably married in 2005, but their divorce was finalized in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.

In 2022, Affleck married Jennifer Lopez, whom he previously dated in the early 2000s before their first split.
However, in early August this year, the On The Floor singer filed for divorce from the Oscar winner on their second wedding anniversary.
Last week, sources told DailyMail.com that Garner “no longer wishes” to be in contact with Lopez following the end of her marriage to Affleck.
Inside sources previously told DailyMail.com she had felt like a “pawn” after acting as a “marriage counselor” to Ben and Jennifer amid the breakdown of the former couple’s two-year marriage.
“Jen no longer wants to have communication with JLo unless it’s with the kids,” the source recently claimed.
“His friends feel he shouldn’t have allowed himself to get so involved in helping JLo fix her marriage to Ben.”
The source added: ‘Especially considering Jen felt at odds with JLo at times during her own marriage. Jen is very kind and really wanted to help, so she tried.
Violet was recently seen posing for a selfie with Lopez’s sister Lynda, who visited her at Yale, leaving Garner and Affleck “confused.”
While their Thanksgiving plans are still unclear, both Jennifer and Ben will likely be in Los Angeles for the holiday; seen in January in Beverly Hills
The Deadpool & Wolverine actress found the photo “strange” but didn’t say anything negative about the singer or her sister.
‘JLo’s approach to Violet seemed strange to Jen and then Lynda showed up at Violet’s school. Jen’s loyalty is to her children’s father, Ben, and his children. Because they love JLo.”
The source added: “But Jen would never badmouth her or speak negatively about her.” Everyone knows that if JLo wanted to spend time with her kids in addition to Violet, she would have to go through Jen.
Garner recently sparked engagement rumors with her boyfriend, John Miller, in late October.
While driving through Los Angeles, the actress could be seen sporting a gold band with a turquoise stone on her ring finger.
