On the same day that Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday, her husband Ben Affleck closed the contract on their new “bachelor pad” valued at $20.5 million.
The 51-year-old The Last Duel star purchased his new home in Pacific Palisades on Wednesday, July 24, as the singer celebrated her birthday without him.
Coincidentally, that was also the time the Hustlers star finalized the sale of her four-bedroom New York City penthouse for $23 million, according to People.
Their purchase came days after they publicly announced their shared Beverly Hills mansion for a whopping $68 million.
The couple has not been photographed together in months amid ongoing split rumors, and have spent most of the summer apart on different coasts.

This comes after claims that Affleck’s sudden purchase of the house has been a “stab in the heart” for Lopez.
Affleck’s home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms with breakfast and dining areas, as well as a separate family room, study, walk-in closets, media room, powder room, guest house and more amenities typical of a multi-million dollar home.
The house was designed by architect Cliff May.
Meanwhile, the penthouse Lopez sold is a four-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom duplex.

This development is the strongest signal yet that Affleck’s marriage to Jennifer could be headed toward divorce.
The This Is Me…Now artist and Affleck put their Beverly Hills home up for sale earlier this month after purchasing the property for $60 million last May, but found no immediate buyers.
They recently spent their second wedding anniversary apart amid reports that they are living in separate homes.
While Lopez has remained in their marital home, Affleck has been living in a $100,000-a-month rental that’s a short drive from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home in Brentwood.

To celebrate her milestone birthday, Lopez hosted an early royal-themed birthday party in the Hamptons, New York, over the weekend, which Affleck was unable to attend.
He and Garner, 52, were married from 2005 to 2018 and share children Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Reports about Affleck and Lopez’s marital problems began circulating in May, after the couple had not been seen together since late March.
A source told In Touch at the time: ‘Ben has already moved on and they will likely have to sell their dream home they’ve been looking at for two years.
“They will never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him and he can’t change her. There’s no way this could last.”
One of Lopez’s friends who lives in Los Angeles told the Daily Mail: “If it’s just a matter of putting in the effort, then you better believe she’ll figure it out.”
“She has put her heart and soul into her love story with Ben and won’t give up without a fight,” the source added. “From what I’ve heard, there’s still a lot of love there, so there must be hope.”
Meanwhile, Lopez is currently in New York City, after recently celebrating her birthday in the Hamptons.
After hosting a Bridgerton-themed party, which Affleck was not in attendance at, Lopez thanked her fans for their birthday messages in a post.
The On The Floor singer told her 251 million Instagram followers she was “overwhelmed” by the outpouring of love she’s received from around the world.
Later in her post, Lopez admitted to being “fragile” and declared her fans her “greatest gift.”

Meanwhile, Us Weekly claimed on Wednesday that there is “a slim hope” that Ben and Jennifer could get back together.
“Jennifer suggested they just take their time to work it out,” the source said.
It was also added that Bennifer 2.0 “has not yet made a decision” regarding the split.
