Ben Affleck was all smiles again as he reunited with ex-wife Jennifer Garner to send their daughter Violet off to college over the weekend, but his current wife Jennifer Lopez was noticeably absent from the important family moment amid their marital turmoil.
In photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, the actor, 52, looked happy and relaxed as he enjoyed dinner with Garner, 52, Violet, 18, and their son Fin, 15, in New Haven, Connecticut, on Saturday.
Violet is rumored to attend Yale University, the Ivy League school located in New Haven.
The happy occasion came amid rumors that Ben’s marriage to Jennifer Lopez is in trouble. He was not wearing his wedding ring during the outing.
Despite her close bond with Violet, Jennifer was also absent from the important event.

Ben, dressed in a button-down shirt, dress pants and Nike sneakers, was seen sweetly hugging Fin as the four met on the sidewalk.
Garner, meanwhile, wore a striped T-shirt, jeans and stylish black sunglasses.
The four of them seemed really relaxed and at ease as they enjoyed a summer afternoon together before Violet’s biggest moment.
Violet graduated from high school earlier this year and her mother shared an emotional post on her Instagram to commemorate the moment.
In her Instagram post, the actress is seen breaking down in tears over her daughter’s momentous occasion.
“Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate,” Garner wrote in the caption of her series of photos.
On the carousel, Garner could be seen crying in a multitude of different locations, including what appeared to be Violet’s graduation ceremony and during a flight.

The sighting comes amid a flurry of rumors that Affleck and Jennifer are headed for an “imminent” divorce.
Lopez, 55, and Affleck are said to be living apart, and DailyMail.com previously reported that they have prepared divorce papers to be filed at a later date.
On Thursday, she quietly visited his house for her birthday and then spent the evening enjoying the company of her friends at a Bruno Mars concert for the opening of the new Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
Also on Thursday before Bruno Mars’ concert, Jennifer visited Ben on his birthday, despite Lopez spending her own 55th birthday last month without the Oscar winner.
Ben purchased a $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades last month in July, after residing in a $100,000-a-month rental in Brentwood.
The Atlas actress has been staying at her luxurious Beverly Hills mansion, which has been put up for sale for $68 million.
