Ben Affleck had a tense expression on his face when he was seen meeting his wife Jennifer Lopez on Wednesday morning.
The couple, who reportedly live apart and divorce is “imminent,” reunited in Los Angeles for their 12-year-old son Samuel’s graduation.
Ben, 51, was wearing his wedding ring when he arrived with his mother Chris Anne Boldt at his side and failed to crack a smile. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, vest and pants with a white shirt and no tie.
Jennifer, 54, who was spotted shopping on Tuesday, stepped out with her twins Max and Emme, 16, looking elegant in an ivory minidress with clear and beige high heels and a Hermes bag. The Atlas star was smiling and seemed in good spirits.
Also spotted was Ben’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52, with whom the Oscar-winning actor has Samuel, as well as their children Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, who now goes by End.

Lopez showed no signs of stress as she appeared in an elegant off-white dress with a high scoop neck and scalloped hem.
The former Fly Girl added very high heels that highlighted her slim and toned legs.
Her blonde hair was tied back as she glowed in pale pink makeup and donned pink/purple butterfly sunglasses with diamond earrings.
The film icon, who worked on Kiss Of The Spider Woman this year, couldn’t stop smiling.
Her daughter Emme wore a beige button-down shirt with a pointed collar, rumpled into dark belted pants and sneakers.
Max was even more understated in a short-sleeved white shirt with khaki pants and a beige cap and glasses. Nike high-top sneakers completed his summer look. The teen had a headphone case around his neck with a RAMEN strap while he held his cell phone.
Garner seemed in good spirits as he got out of his car at the valet service. The Alias actress wore a dark, ankle-length summer dress with wide straps.
John Miller’s partner added a brown hat with a tribal print ribbon and her hair down. Her shoes were black sandals with gold stitching on the heels. He was carrying a black quilted bag and black sunglasses.
Fin, who had short hair, followed Garner. The boy was wearing a patterned shirt with dark pants and was carrying a jacket, a cell phone and a book.

Jennifer was also greeted by a woman in a blue dress and black ballet flats.
Interestingly, Lopez, Affleck and Garner were not photographed in the same frame, but they must have been close to each other inside the graduation when their children were reunited.
The day before, Affleck met up with Garner, who hugged his mother. During that meeting, he saw Ben carefree and smiling.
Affleck was reportedly last with JLo on Sunday when they had a four-hour meeting at the $60 million Bel Air mansion they are reportedly putting up for sale.
He already lives in a $100,000-a-month rental near Garner, while Lopez is believed to still be in the mega-mansion with her children.

While another adds: “I’ve seen him with glassy eyes and he’s a real worry for everyone who cares about him.”
Affleck’s representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
The revelation comes as J.Lo insiders also reveal that her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, has now “turned against” Affleck, despite initially encouraging her daughter to rekindle romance with “Bennifer” in 2022 .
I understand that the 54-year-old singer’s manager, Benny Medina, also “openly dislikes” Affleck.
A source said: “I understand he has left the marriage, but she has yet to accept the truth of the situation and believes that with therapy they could achieve this.”
“This is further complicated by the fact that this is about the emotions of the five children they have between them,” the source added. ‘The reasons why it hasn’t worked are many, but when you lose J.Lo’s family, you lose J.Lo. His mother and his sisters are against him and so is Benny (Medina).
J.Lo also recently rekindled her friendship with actress Leah Remini. The couple reportedly fell out in 2022 after Remini told her that Affleck was not properly committed to her romance and that he would end up hurting her.

Affleck said he first stopped drinking in 1997.
Then he said, ‘I just wanted to stop. I started to regret some things I did when I was drunk. It’s funny to be nasty or out of control, but then it’s like, “I think I hurt that person’s feelings,” or “I made a fool of myself,” or “I didn’t want to kiss that girl.” I have almost no inhibitions, so it’s dangerous for me.’
He sought treatment for alcoholism in 2001 and went to rehab again in 2017 and 2018. The following year there was a setback when he was photographed leaving a Halloween party drunk.
In 2020 he said: “People with compulsive behaviors, and I’m one of them, have this kind of basic discomfort all the time that they try to make it go away.” You’re trying to feel better by eating, drinking, having sex, gambling, shopping, or whatever. But that ends up making your life worse.
Then you do more to make that discomfort go away. Then the real pain begins. It becomes a vicious cycle that cannot be broken. At least that’s what happened to me.
