Ben Affleck kicked off the year 2025 by spending quality time with his son, Samuel, during a low-key outing in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday.
It comes shortly after his ex, Jennifer Lopez, also celebrated the New Year’s holiday in Aspen and shared sexy bikini photos as she said goodbye to 2024.
In August last year, the Unstoppable actress, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on their second wedding anniversary.
Ben’s 12-year-old mini-me son rode his bike as they enjoyed the cooler weather during the daytime outing. The couple was seen having a light-hearted conversation before heading to their next destination.
The Gone Girl actor kept it casual in a pair of khaki pants and a black button-down shirt partially unbuttoned around the neck.
She also donned a white printed shirt and layered the ensemble with a white jacket.

Affleck “is spending the holidays with his kids and is excited to have Violet home for the holidays,” the source continued.
The former couple, whose divorce was finalized in 2018, also reunited over Thanksgiving, where they volunteered together for The Midnight Mission.
A separate source told the outlet that the 13 Going On 30 actress “really just wants her kids to be happy.”
“She will continue to make sure they spend time together as a family and include Ben… The kids enjoy it when everyone spends time together.”
Earlier this week, Lopez reflected on her own New Year’s vacation spent in Aspen with her loved ones and close friends.
On Thursday, she uploaded a montage of photos and clips to Instagram while celebrating with her mother Guadalupe, her sister Lynda, and also some of her producers and stylists.

While Ben spent time with Garner and their children during the holiday season, Jennifer also celebrated Christmas in Aspen, where she was seen socializing with celebrities like Kevin Costner.
Last month in December, Affleck and Lopez were seen meeting up while exchanging gifts at Soho House in Los Angeles.
A source recently said Page six that the couple still plans to be in each other’s lives, despite the divorce.

However, she was not nominated for a 2025 Golden Globe in December, joining other snubbed stars such as Lady Gaga and Meryl Streep.
Despite the snub, the actress received the Maverick Award while attending the 2024 IndieWire Honors in Los Angeles.
