Ben Affleck received a special shout-out from Mindy Kaling when she spoke onstage during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Wednesday.
Just a day earlier, Jennifer Lopez had officially filed for divorce from the 52-year-old Oscar winner on their second wedding anniversary, following months of split rumors.
Toward the end of her speech, The Office alum, 45, expressed her “shout out to the incredible delegation” from her home state of Massachusetts.
As she began listing off sports teams and famous names from the state, like the Boston Red Sox and Jason Tatum, Kaling said, “Ben Affleck, cheers!” followed by loud cheers from the crowd.
“Dunkin’ Donuts has the best coffee in the world,” Mindy added. Affleck has appeared in numerous commercials for the food company.
