Below Deck Down Under star Aesha Scott has broken her silence on the ‘horrific’ incident in which two crew members were fired for misconduct.
The head steward, 31, took to social media after bosun Luke Jones and stew Laura Bileskalnehad were thrown off set after they misbehaved under the influence of alcohol, and Jones drunkenly approached to a crew member.
Scott issued a statement after the most recent episode, saying the drunken behavior he witnessed went against the show’s values.
“I wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone of the main message that was shown in the episode, which is that women, and really everyone, have the right to go out, have fun and feel safe, and that’s for the best.” *ing end of it,’ she began.

“We don’t actually know what would have happened, but being naked in her bed, and she has no idea, really gives me goosebumps. You have no right to put someone unconscious in that position,” he added.
Scott’s fans quickly took to Twitter to praise her for taking control of the situation during the episode.
“As horrible as last night’s episode of Below Deck Down Under was, I think it was important that they show it and not cut it. Thanks for stepping in,’ wrote one fan.
‘Who would have thought that a master class on dealing with sexual assault would be shown on a reality show? Aesha is the hero we need,” added another.

During the shocking episode, Boatswain Luke Jones was fired after climbing on the bed of Margot Sisson, who was naked and asleep, ‘without consent’.
Aesha has since posted a photo on Twitter of her and Margot enjoying a drink together, telling her fans that women should support other women.
