A man died following reports of an argument at a home in Belgrave (pictured) on Sunday afternoon

A man has been found dead at a property in Melbourne’s east following reports of an altercation over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to a home on Belgrave-Gembrook Road in Belgrave at around 4.30pm on Sunday following reports of two men arguing.

One of the men, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene.

A 30-year-old Belgrave man was interviewed by Victoria Police but has since been released pending further enquiries.

A crime scene has been established at the home, and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
