Influencer and former AFL WAG Bec Judd (pictured) has again criticised the Victorian Labor Government for its inaction in the face of a wave of youth crime affecting Melbourne.

An enraged Bec Judd has again lashed out at Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan and her government after they rejected a bill proposing tougher bail laws for young offenders.

The influencer and former AFL WAG berated the Labor state government for voting against the Liberal and National parties’ bail amendment bill in an Instagram story posted on Thursday.

The Melbourne-based influencer has taken a hardline stance against the government as the city grapples with a youth crime crisis with some young people reoffending while out on bail.

“Remember this the next time you, your friends or your family have their homes invaded, their cars stolen, you are attacked by a violent criminal or you are murdered by someone out on bail,” Judd wrote.

“Because this is the new norm in Victoria.”

The post tagged former Australian tennis star turned state Liberal MP Sam Groth.

She then posted a story urging her supporters to sign a petition by Liberal MP Brad Battin urging the Allan government to “immediately reverse its decision”.

If passed, the bill would have required courts to consider the likelihood that a bail applicant would commit a “serious offence if granted bail”.

It would also have reinstated laws making it a crime to “violate a condition of bail” or “commit a felony while out on bail.”

“These measures would have made it harder for dangerous people to be granted bail in the first place, while also making those granted bail more accountable for their conduct,” read a statement from the Victorian Liberal Party.

Shadow Attorney-General Michael O’Brien said Victorians were bearing the brunt of youth crime “caused by Labor’s weak bail laws”.

“Victorians want dangerous people off the streets,” he said.

‘The Allan Labor Government has made it clear that it will prioritise politics and complacency over community protection.

“Workers can’t manage money or our justice system, and Victorians are paying the price.”

On Tuesday, Judd shared a news story about a 16-year-old boy who was released on bail after allegedly stealing a Mercedes from a woman with cerebral palsy.

The teenager was allegedly speeding and driving the stolen Mercedes on the wrong side of the road before crashing into the Volvo.

The Mercedes had been stolen hours earlier and had been specially modified for the owner, who has cerebral palsy.

The alleged driver was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and was released on bail to appear in court at a later date.

The alleged incident sparked the ire of Judd, who attacked Premier Allan and the state’s attorney general, Jaclyn Symes.

“Let’s keep Victorians (not just Baysiders) safe. We are out on bail and will likely be breaking into some innocent person’s home tonight,” Judd wrote in the TV news segment that was shared.
