FIRST LOOK: Sophie Monk debuts incredible geek-to-hunk transformations from Nine’s Beauty And The Geek reboot for Sydney reality stars
Channel Nine first announced that it would reboot Beauty And The Geek Australia during the media upfronts in September.
And it looks like the series is nearing its return season.
On Wednesday night, host Sophie Monk promoted the show at a Sydney venue with reality TV stars in the audience and asked them to rate the Geek’s transformations.

Sophie, 41, proudly introduced the audience to the latest round of the show’s signature makeovers.
“We’re going to show before and after, are you ready?” she asked, holding a clipboard in her hand.
The evening was a “ media and marketing trivia and transformation challenge, ” giving attendees a taste of the new season’s cast.

Love Island couple Josh Moss and Amelia Plummer were in the crowd, sharing footage from the evening on social media.
Josh told his fans, “So apparently Amelia and I are reviewing transformations for a Beauty and The Geek contest tonight.”
“They have some of the best in the business to judge … and we don’t really know what we’re doing,” he joked.
Amelia, who sat next to Married At First Sight bride Elizabeth Sobinoff, also shared footage from the event.

Sophie first cheered on fans to submit their applications in an Instagram video in November.
‘I’m so excited to host Beauty And The Geek, one of my favorite shows,’ said the former Bachelorette.
According to Endemol Shine, producers were looking for ‘generous beauties and nerds’ to mate and compete for a cash prize.
The recordings would take up to seven weeks between mid-January and early March 2021.
Beauty and the Geek’s return comes six years after the dating series was discontinued by Channel Seven in 2014.
