Maya confirmed her return to the dating phenomenon when she appeared in the trailer looking sensational in a metallic silver jumpsuit and black platform boots.

Hiding her face with a large visor, the television presenter stars in the dramatic clip as she lights a large flamethrower before setting fire to a large heart.

Meanwhile, Donna Summer’s Hot Stuff plays with a lick of air guitar followed by Love Island’s inimitable theme song reversed into rock style.

Taking off her helmet, the stunner announces: “Where there’s love there’s fire” before taking a sip from her own personalized Love Island water bottle.

Maya confirmed that the series, which recently racked up over three hundred million views on ITVX, will soon return to ITV, with Monday June 3 rumored to be the unofficial start date when a new group of singles enter the villa in search for true love.

Ahead of its long-awaited return to Mallorca, ITV viewers will see the full promotional trailer for the eleventh series of Love Island during Saturday night’s broadcast of Britain’s Got Talent.

Love Island’s recent All Star series remains the biggest digital show of the year to date, as well as attracting the largest commercial 16-34 audience yet (1.4 million), the launch episode of the show also attracted more than 3.4 million viewers.

ITV released the first teaser for the new series earlier this week, however they did not reveal that the illusory masked figure was actually Maya.

While the series was the biggest digital show of the year to date, it failed to reach the viewing figures of its glory days.

After a dramatic series, Molly Smith and Tom Clare were crowned winners of the first Love Island All Stars in February.

The ITV reality show received the lowest ratings ever for a Love Island final, with just one million viewers tuning in live to the grand finale, making it the least-watched final since the first series in 2015.

Including viewing figures from streaming platform ITVX, 1.3 million fans watched the final, in line with last year’s winter series finale.

According to Super TV, ITV2 ratings accounted for just 8.4 per cent of viewing figures, while Overnight TV statistics showed they accounted for just 7.6 per cent.

Of this figure, 0.4 million viewers were between 16 and 34 years old, an increase compared to last year’s winter final.

Love Island has unveiled its first trailer ahead of the long-awaited season 11 launch show, promising fans that “this summer is going to be (fire).”

In 2018, 3.6 million tuned in as Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham pocketed £50,000, followed by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who achieved the highest rating ever for a final with 3.7 million.

Viewing figures for the final have declined in recent years, having dropped to around one million after the dramatic conclusion of Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s series, which was watched by three million.

Commenting on the declining figure, one fan wrote: “I hope they don’t make a January series next year and let it rest.” Just focus on the summer and give people a break.

The reigning regular series champions are Jess Harding and Sammy Root, who won season 10 in July 2023.

However, it wasn’t a perfect union as the lovebirds split just two months after winning the £50,000 prize, MailOnline exclusively revealed.

A source close to the couple told MailOnline they mutually decided they were “better off as friends” after struggling to make their romance work outside the show.
