She said there’s “nothing like it” for the beachside property on the market in Bruny Island and it generated a lot of interest among buyers.
There were four interested buyers “who really wanted the house”, but towards the end two parties got into a bidding war before one walked away for $1.56 million.
This is the first time the coastal family home has changed ownership since it was built in 1988.
