Live theatrical entertainment hasn’t been the same since the curtains closed on Beacher’s Madhouse.
But after a decade off the network, the celebrity-loved variety show will return next month for three electrifying consecutive nights as part of Netflix is a joke fest.
The invitation-only extravaganza will take place at the Roosevelt Hotel theater, home of the first Oscars and the original Beacher show, on May 9, 10 and 11, welcoming to an exclusive group of celebrities for an evening of performances. , comedy acts, decadence and celebrity cameos.
Showman Jeff Beacher is the mind behind this visionary entertainment experience, which combines classic vaudeville with Hollywood glitz, elements of circus, cabaret and burlesque.
And after a few enigmatic years away from the marquee, he brings back his truly incomparable show, which was a precursor to the era of experiential, immersive entertainment.
Jeff Beacher and his acclaimed vaudeville show Beacher’s Madhouse will return to the Roosevelt Hotel for Netflix Is A Joke Fest after a decade-long hiatus.
Growing up alongside icons like Paris Hilton made Beacher the class clown during Hollywood’s pre-influencer era. Madhouse quickly became the place to see, welcoming celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Mick Jagger, Zac Efron, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian to watch the madness.
The Netflix revival Is A Joke Fest will feature an equally star-studded guest list.
“Everyone in Hollywood has been begging me to take back the asylum,” Jeff Beacher told DailyMail. “Being a people pleaser, I partnered with Netflix to bring the world not one, but three of the best nights of live entertainment imaginable.”
The festival is packed and will open on May 1 with headliners Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze and Sebastian Maniscalco at the Hollywood Bowl.
One of the main events will be the Greatest Roast of All Time on May 5, where the one and only Tom Brady will be roasted by host Kevin Hart, plus Beacher’s favorite comedian and best friend, ‘Roastmaster General’ Jeff Ross and others.
Beacher’s friend Ross performs his own critically acclaimed one-man show at the Masonic Lodge of Hollywood Forever Cemetery on May 9, and we hear the party will head to the Madhouse afterward for its opening night. Drinks will be flowing abundantly, as Beacher will exclusively serve Kevin Hart’s premium tequila, Gran Coramino, for all three nights.
Netflix Is A Joke will also feature events with big names like Seth Rogen, John Mulaney, Tom Segura, Ali Wong, Trevor Noah, Bill Burr, Hasan Minhaj, Cendric the Entertainer and many more.
Pushing the boundaries of live performance, Beacher’s Madhouse featured some truly crazy antics, each night filling the stage with dozens of singers and dancers, famous mini-me’s and, of course, plenty of Beachers in top form.
The invitation-only extravaganza will take place on May 9, 10 and 11.
The man behind it all, Jeff Beacher, is a showbiz tour de force, dubbed “The Greatest Showman on the Strip” by Rolling Stone magazine. Famous for his willingness to undergo the wildest stunts, he has done everything from stripping to parodying famous photo shoots by Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and David Beckham to running part of the Los Angeles Marathon.
Beacher’s visionary beginnings began with the hit New York version of Madhouse. He then headed to Sin City in 2003, where he became the youngest headline act in the history of the Las Vegas Strip during the show’s multi-year residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. In Las Vegas, he did one of his most iconic stunts: taking off his underwear and diving into the fish tank at the MGM Grand’s Rainforest Café.
He took the show on the road for an 81-date cross-country tour in 2008 and made his mark at the Roosevelt in 2010, becoming the first headline show at this historic Los Angeles venue. Another run at the MGM Grand began in 2014, but the grind of hosting top-notch parties every night began to wear on Beacher and in 2016 he retired the live show.
To focus on his health, the showman moved to Los Angeles, where he presented his next act to the world. During the Los Angeles era, Beacher began working intensely on his health, losing more than 200 pounds in the pre-Ozempic era and emerging happier and stronger than ever.
A Beverly Hills powerhouse, he’s been the mastermind behind countless celebrity and media partnerships, podcasts with the late Larry King and co-hosted with Kelly Osbourne, and made his mark in the venture capital space, collaborating on 444 Capital with Charli D’Amelio and family.
But Beacher knows his calling is to provide people with top-notch entertainment, and he’s proud to be returning to the stage after a decade out of the spotlight.
While nothing can compare to experiencing the madness firsthand, people are said to get a glimpse of the madness with a feature-length documentary about Beacher, rumored to be released in 2026.
The next era of Beacher’s Madhouse has begun!
