BBC star Peter Grant has sadly passed away after a short battle with cancer.
Tributes have begun to be shared since news of the beloved former broadcaster’s death broke.
Peter was adored by fans who knew him on many Magic stations, Hallam FM, Durham FM, Plymouth Sound, BBC Radio Newcastle and Tees, Radio Aire and TFM.
He also appeared on screen, presenting shows for Made In Tyne and Wear and BBC Look North Breakfast.
