British YouTuber and BBC star Yung Filly has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in a hotel in Australia.
Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, 29, was arrested in Brisbane on Tuesday and extradited interstate to Perth on Wednesday.
The YouTube star is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s at his hotel on September 28 after a performance at Bar1 nightclub in Hillarys, Perth, on the night of September 27.
The rapper, whose rapid rise to fame saw him land his own BBC show called Hot Property in 2019, had performed at Havana Nightclub on the Gold Coast two days before his arrest.
He has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault and one count of impeding the normal breathing or circulation of a person by applying pressure to their neck.
Barrientos, who was born in Colombia but moved to the UK as a refugee as a child, will face Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The event at Bar1, where Barrientos performed before the alleged attack, marketed the British rapper’s performance as the “ultimate night out.”
‘The event promises to be a perfect combination of spontaneity, humor and music that will keep you talking for weeks!’ MoshTix said.
Barrientos started his YouTube channel in 2013 and frequently collaborates with other stars, most notably his best friends Chunkz and Harry Pinero. In 2022, he teamed up with Chunkz to host the MOBO Awards.
Filly first delved into the music industry in 2017. And he recently collaborated with fellow British rapper Aitch on the song Gray, which garnered over 2.5 million views on YouTube and 10 million streams on Spotify.
The 29-year-old has also presented several shows on the BBC, including Yung Filly’s Hot Property and Celeb Lock-In, and appeared on Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off.
As he has become a more prominent figure, Yung Filly has played in Soccer Aid and appeared in Would I Lie to You?
Barrientos has also worked with several fashion brands, including recent collaborations with ASOS and Perplex, as well as many major companies including McDonald’s, Heinz, British fashion chain Primark and Captain Morgan rum.
Their Australian tour began in Perth before heading to Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast, where they performed four shows.
Yung Filly has accumulated more than three million followers on Instagram and 1.84 million subscribers on YouTube.

His 85 videos have been viewed nearly 120 million times since he joined YouTube in November 2013.
Yung Filly’s net worth is estimated to be between $1 million and $2 million.
He first turned to making videos after a video of his ex cheating on him went viral with millions of views on Facebook.
Last month, Filly shared a reel of photos on Instagram that included photos of him hanging out with England striker Ivan Toney and rapper Aitch.
The YouTuber also appeared on the BBC’s Jonathan Ross show earlier this year alongside Oscar-nominated actress Kirsten Dunst, industry star Marisa Abela, Lionesses goalkeeper Mary Earps and Madness.
On the show he told the audience how he knew he had made it when he took his mother off work in Poundland.
He said: “She used to work in Poundland and it got to the point where people would see the resemblance between her and me and say, ‘Are you Filly’s mother?’ And some people would ask for photos and she would get really embarrassed.

“I remember calling her once and saying, ‘Mom, you can quit your job, I’ve got you now.’
‘She didn’t know how to take it. Months passed, she was still working and I told her: ‘Mom, seriously, you don’t have to work again.’ Then I made her my personal assistant.
Filly has previously spoken about his pride in being a refugee and how he grew up in a poor family.
He told Amazon Prime in 2020: “I’m very proud to have been a refugee, I’m proud to have had to fight.” It makes you appreciate the little things much more. I don’t think I realized how poor we were.
He added: ‘I was born in Colombia and unfortunately I don’t know much about Colombia. But from what I know, it’s a happy place… when I think about my culture, I’m proud of the vibe that the country, the people and the food give off.’
When asked about the impact of working on social media, he once revealed: ‘Has it had a positive or negative impact on my mental health? A little of both. I suffer from anxiety. Recently, I experienced panic attacks. It has made me known and being known is what gives me anxiety. But social media changed my life.”
Earlier this year, he also played football with some of the sport’s greats, including David Villa, Kaka and Chelsea legend Drogba, in a star-studded charity match in Qatar.
