BBC Radio 1 ‘legend’ Chris Sawyer has left his post as Greg James’ producer after 15 years on air.
The co-producer took to Instagram on Thursday to announce his departure from the radio station.
Chris chose 10 of his favorite moments from his 15 years at Radio 1 to share for his post, including his first ever hug with host Greg.
He revealed his final show with Greg on the breakfast show would be Friday – and teased the pastures new he’s moved on to.
Chris wrote the text for the post: ‘It’s my last week on Radio 1! I’ve been involved in more nonsense than I ever thought possible to fit into a quick 15 years.

Other memories Chris looked back on in his farewell post included a publicity photo of the ‘short-lived’ Chris and Ian on the Early Breakfast show in 2007.
The Radio 1 Paint-along, where Greg recreated an 1866 painting live on air and became his 19th century doppelganger, also got a mention.
In another snap, Chris was seen floating on a ‘giant jigsaw’ – presumably for another work task.
Chris last week was busy as he was spotted in the car with Greg and Matt Edmondson touring with Mollie King as she embarks on a 500km Red Nose Day charity bike ride.
Greg was jokingly skeptical of the validity of Chris quitting, commenting: ‘I still can’t be 100% sure this isn’t just another scheme.’
But the producer’s other Radio 1 colleagues came forward to express their sadness at his departure from the station.
‘No Chris!!!’ said DJ and radio host Jack Saunders, who took on the red carpet and after-party hosting at this year’s BRIT Awards.

Chris’ exit comes amid host shake-ups at the BBC radio station after Jordan North was removed from his place with Vick following months of behind-the-scenes chaos.
It has since been announced that Jordan would replace Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast – with Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing taking his place on Radio 1’s Going Home.
