BBC Breakfast saw two presenters replaced in another hosting change, but it was the ‘stunning’ Carol Kirkwood who stole the show in a tight blue dress.
The show’s Monday-Wednesday hosts John Kay and Sally Nugent were absent on Tuesday as the breakfast show continues to make changes for the Olympics.
Instead, Ben Thompson and Sarah Thompson took the helm on the red couch and read out Tuesday’s top stories.
But they were outdone by weatherwoman Carol, who looked incredible in a fitted blue dress with half-length sleeves.
Viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to praise Carol’s look, saying: “Stunning in blue. Wow!”

Instead, Ben Thompson and Sarah Thompson (pictured) took the helm on the red sofa and read out Tuesday’s top stories.
They continued: ‘You look absolutely gorgeous’; ‘Bonnie, blue, beautiful Carol’; ‘Very pretty’.
And that wasn’t the only change: the BBC’s coverage of the Olympics began at 6:45am on BBC One, meaning the BBC’s breakfast show was forced to switch to BBC Two mid-broadcast.
The breakfast show followed the same format last week and had been criticised for removing vital segments such as local news and weather reports.
Additionally, Ben’s replacement, John, is usually paired with Luxmy Gopal, rather than Sarah.
This comes after Sally, 52, was replaced at the end of July by Jon, 54, who appeared alongside Nina Warhurst (right).
This comes just a day after fans of the show were left furious when Ben Thompson replaced Jon on Tuesday.
BBC Breakfast did not mention why Sally was not on Wednesday’s show.
However, despite the change, some viewers felt Nina did a great job when she spoke about the tragic stabbings in Southport as part of the main news.
And that wasn’t the only change: the BBC’s coverage of the Olympics began at 6:45am on BBC One, meaning the BBC’s breakfast show was forced to switch to BBC Two mid-broadcast.
This comes after Sally, 52, was replaced at the end of July by Jon, 54, who will appear alongside Nina Warhurst (right).
Just days earlier, the programme had been pulled from BBC One again mid-run and moved to BBC Two to make way for coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
But the fact that the show was cut and shrunk to a smaller channel wasn’t the only thing that had fans angry.
Fans called the interview segment “embarrassing and disappointing” as they claimed Ben addressed the politician in an “aggressive tone.”
The Chancellor was on the current affairs programme to discuss her decision to end winter fuel payments for millions of pensioners who do not receive pension credit or other means-tested benefits, among other issues.
