Downton Abbey star Jim Carter and his award-winning wife Imelda Staunton will both appear in the Downtown Abbey movie – but class keeps them apart.
Carter will be seen in the film as the retired Crawley family butler Carson, who is now married to housekeeper Mrs. Hughes (played by Phyllis Logan): characters from & # 39; under the stairs & # 39 ;.
Mrs. Staunton will, however, & # 39; top & # 39; be and play the Earl of Grantham's cousin.

Details of the plot, written by Downton maker Julian Fellowes, are closely followed, although I have heard a whisper of a possible visit to the abbey by King George V and Queen Mary, for tea.
That was however from an early script. Whether the royal visit will find its way into the full-length film, of which director Brian Percival starts shooting on September 10, is the expectation of everyone.
The production has been removed from the regular studio in Ealing because another show is being filmed there. Instead, the Downton cast and crew take over the soundtracks from Shepperton Studios.
Downton regulars Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Penelope Wilton and Joanne Froggatt return. Geraldine James will also be in the film.
Sam & # 39; s Pretty Woman & # 39; dream & # 39; role is heading towards the West End
Samantha Barks said with her lead role in the Broadway musical version of Pretty Woman and creating the role on stage that Julia Roberts played in the iconic romantic movie, is like & # 39; the dream life & # 39 ;.
The show has come a long way since I saw him during his & # 39; outta town & # 39; which was run in Chicago in June.
Andy Karl, who won prizes for Groundhog Day at the Old Vic, now plays the handsome businessman who is rescued by Vivian, the sex worker played by Mrs. Barks.

Producer Paula Wagner told me that director Jerry Mitchell and writer J. F. Lawton (who worked on the book with the late Garry Marshall, who directed the film) reshaped the show.
And it is clear that today it is a tighter, funnier, slimmer offer.
The audience with whom I saw it in the Dutch theater (where it has broken the records of the house) thought it was great, just like me.
Wagner confirmed that discussions had begun on taking Pretty Woman to London's West End either at the end of 2019 or early 2020.
I think Mitchell would do more work on the London show and maybe give Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance a new song. The show needs a huge hit that you can hum.
Barks and Karl are great together, and also singer / actress Orfeh (who plays Vivian's best friend Kit). I imagine that when Karl comes to the West End, Orfeh – who happens to be his wife – comes.
There is a lot of pressure on the producers of James Bond 25 to find a filmmaker who takes over from Danny Boyle, who stopped when Daniel Craig and fellow producers insisted on replacing screenwriter John Hodge.
Several study sound phases have been booked for the photo. Problem is: do they hold them, or do they give up?
Tense situation behind the scenes, finding a director willing to be ruled by Mr. Craig.
