Baywatch star Nicole Eggert has responded to Jeremy Jackson’s shocking confession that he engaged in a disturbing act involving his female co-stars’ swimsuits.
Surprisingly, the 53-year-old actress, who is currently battling breast cancer, praised his honesty after the actor, now 43, recently admitted to sniffing the actresses’ dirty swimsuits as a teenager on the show.
“I’m so used to Jeremy being very honest and being himself, and he’s a grown man at this point,” the Charles in Charge alum said. TMZ Thursday. “That’s what we love about Jeremy: his honesty, his openness.”
She continued: “And the fact that he can make fun of a teenage Jeremy… it’s just the truth, and it’s hilarious. I know people are shocked by that, but I’m sure all of us, at that weird teenage age, have done some different things… and I just love it because I love him for his honesty.”
Nicole revealed that she found out about the swimsuit smell incident after Jeremy confessed to it in the documentary After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, which aired on Wednesday.

“He’s not that person anymore, if he did it as a man… it would be a different story,” she added, laughing.
She also said she doesn’t want to know which of the actress’s swimsuits Jeremy preferred to smell during the filming of the series, which starred Pamela Anderson, Erika Eleniak and Carmen Electra.
In the documentary, Jackson, who played Hobie, the son of Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff) on the show from ages 10 to 19, said: “I would usually sneak into the (women’s) trailers when they were done and grab their dirty bathing suits.”
He added: “Let’s just say I was aware of everything that happened on Baywatch. And Nicole (Eggert) was the most important one, without a doubt. We had a very intimate moment, she and I, that she never found out about.”
In another segment, Jeremy recalled an interaction with his on-screen father, Hasselhoff: “I remember David was like, ‘Are you smoking weed or something? ‘ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, do they think I’m smoking weed? ‘ I could never tell them the truth. What would they think?”
“When you haven’t slept for five days and you’ve been smoking meth, having someone look you in the eye and say, ‘Dude, are you okay?’ is the worst thing that can happen to you.”
“I was definitely in a tailspin,” the actor said, adding: “My life was slipping through my fingers like sand.”
He also said that he is in ‘remission’ today, in an interview with People.

Jackson recently made a rare red carpet appearance at the premiere of the documentary Baywatch on Monday in Los Angeles.
This comes after he began serving time behind bars in 2017 after accepting a plea deal for allegedly stabbing a woman in Los Angeles in 2015.
That same year, the former Baywatch star was booted from Celebrity Big Brother in the UK for exposing fellow housemate Chloe Goodman’s breasts.
In 2014 he separated from his wife Loni Wilson after being married for less than two years.
Loni alleged that Jeremy tried to strangle her in a drunken physical altercation.
Meanwhile, at the red carpet premiere of After Baywatch, Nicole gave an update on her health.
Jackson, 43, who played Mitch Buchannon’s (David Hasselhoff) son Hobie on the show from ages 10 to 19, revealed he would smell his co-stars’ dirty bathing suits after a day of filming.

As for how her daughters Dilyn, 25, and Keegan, 13, are handling her diagnosis, the actress said they have taken it “really well.”
“I mean, they kept me on my toes,” she said. “My 13-year-old didn’t give me any special treatment. They were always like, ‘Mom, give me that, come on here, let’s do that.'”
Eggert went on to thank her daughters for keeping her “going” and her life “bright.”
