A three-year-old boy was injured on the side of a road in an alleged hit-and-run by a person who fled the scene of the accident.
Police believe a person in a blue vehicle struck the boy on The Strand in Bayswater, east Perth, between 12.30pm and 1pm on Friday.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly did not stop at the scene.
The boy was found injured on the side of the road with a serious leg injury and was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital by his family.
Police are urging anyone who was driving a blue vehicle in the area at the time to come forward and contact Crime Stopper.
They would also like anyone who saw the accident or any blue vehicles driving in the area at the time of the accident to upload their images to the police.
