According to Le10Sport, that quest has prompted the Bavarians to explore the possibility of allowing midfielders Ndombele and Bakayoko – currently owned by Tottenham and Chelsea – to fill the gaps.
Bakayoko re-joined former club Monaco for a season last summer after failing to impress Blues boss Frank Lampard in the preseason and not playing for Stamford Bridge since the 2018 FA Cup final win over Manchester United .
The one-cap French international – who would also be interested in Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan – released on a rental basis last season on the Serie A side.
Last season, an option was agreed with Monaco to purchase £ 38 million as part of the loan deal, but despite the corona virus pandemic, Chelsea still hopes to earn around £ 31.5 million for his signature.

Given the club’s financial troubles following the coronavirus outbreak, Spurs would hope to recoup much of the £ 65 million payment he paid for him last summer.
