One of Europe’s biggest clubs has reportedly made a member of Spain’s European Championship-winning team its top target.
Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams was one of the stars of the tournament in Germany last summer, scoring in the final 2-1 victory over England.
He was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona following Spain’s win, while Premier League clubs Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea were also said to be circling.
Athletic managed to retain their star winger but interest in the player continues to grow.
And German outlet Bild reports that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have already entered the race.
They claim that Bayern will make a serious move for the 22-year-old in the summer transfer market.

Williams is believed to have a release clause worth just £47m (€55m).
Williams finished last season with eight goals and 16 assists in 32 appearances, and helped Athletic Bilbao finish fifth and, most importantly, win their first Copa del Rey in 40 years.
He has not maintained his form at the Euros this season, contributing two goals and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
His team occupies fourth place in LaLiga, just five points behind the leader, Atlético de Madrid.
