Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has shut down any chance of Manchester United signing Thomas Muller.
There have been reports that United are looking for an experienced option to bolster their attack.
But Salihamidzic insists Muller is not going anywhere due to Bayern’s injuries.

Salihamidzic said: ‘That’s a story you want to write [Muller being sold].
‘We have two players [Niklas Sule and Lucas Hernandez] out for months and you are trying to tell us to sell a player.
‘There’s no reason for doing this.’
Muller falls outside the young profile that United are supposedly looking to sign but is seen an experience forward option.
The Old Trafford club failed to sign Mario Mandzukic on deadline day in August and are low on options up front.
Muller is no longer seen a first-choice option by Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac and is reportedly valued at £40m.
