Despite Bayern still falling 7.4 million pounds short of the Reds’ valuation, Bayern hope their latest package will convince Liverpool to split up.
The Bavarian outfit will pay £30.3million upfront with £4.3million in extras – with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp not standing in the way of his departure if both clubs agree on a price.
Bild also indicates that a three-year contract has already been signed between Mane and Bayern with the player “very eager to go to Munich”.
Following Ajax’s Ryan Gravenberch signing on Monday, Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has turned his attention to bringing Mane to the Allianz Arena.
After receiving approval from the Bayern board to make another offer for Mane, he hopes to close a deal with Liverpool soon.
The Liverpool number 10 has just a year left on his contract at Anfield and is believed to be looking for new pastures.
Bild expands on this by stating that Mane’s agent Bjorn Bezemer met with Salihamidzic in early May to discuss a move.
Liverpool and Bayern have a good relationship, which was strengthened when the latter’s former Thiago Alcantara signed for £25million in September 2020.
