Baskin-Robbins brings dairy-free options to the menu.

The two flavors, which are also vegan, make the brand the newest to embrace the growing trend towards alternatives to dairy products, even in the frozen dessert path.
Hoera! Baskin-Robbins will have two new non-dairy flavors on the menu from 1 August
& # 39; The Baskin-Robbins culinary team has been working hard on our non-dairy flavors for more than two years. It was important for us to take the time to do it right, "said Jeanne Bolger, Director of Research and Development, Baskin-Robbins, in a press release.
The two new flavors are made from coconut oil and almond butter – which means that although they are non-dairy products, they still have that creamy texture.
Non-Dairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is made with pieces of cookie dough, pieces of chocolate and a chocolate ribbon that has been rolled through.
The Non-Dairy Chocolate Extreme is chocolate flavored with chocolate pieces and a chocolate ribbon. According to the brand, this flavor is also & # 39; gluten-aware & # 39 ;, meaning that it is made without gluten-containing ingredients, but not in a gluten-free environment.
The two new flavors are also free of preservatives, artificial flavors, corn syrup with a high fructose and its kosher.
& # 39; Both flavors are so smooth and delicious, and the end product delivers the incredible quality that our customers expect from every Baskin-Robbins ice cream. We are very proud of the result, & Bolger added.
