A basketball player has died after collapsing on the court.
Greg Olbrich, 51, went into cardiac arrest during a match at Morphett Vale Stadium, south of Adelaide, on Wednesday night.
Olbrich had a successful basketball career in which he played for the Adelaide Giants and Southern Tigers.

His death comes just a week after he celebrated his 25th anniversary with his wife Jill, whom he called his “best friend, partner in crime, confidant and soulmate.”
He won the Woollacott Medal, which recognizes the “fairest and brightest” player, in the South Australian state league.
