Bashaud Breeland: Former Chiefs cornerback who won Super Bowl with team is ‘arrested after being found with drugs, guns and a stolen car’
Former Super Bowl-winning NFL cornerback Bashaud Breeland was arrested this week after being found in possession of drugs, weapons and a stolen car. TMZ informed.
Breeland was booked into the Mecklenburg County Jail at 2:12 am Tuesday and charged with eight counts, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm.
In police documents cited by TMZ, police valued the drugs at an estimated $7,000.
Breeland was taken into custody around 3:05 p.m. Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the documents.
Police allegedly discovered that the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Breeland was driving had been reported stolen in Florida.
Cops also found two AR-15S and two AK-47s in a search of the car, they said.
In the documents, the officers also claimed they discovered 5.45 pounds of suspected marijuana and 62 grams of suspected mushrooms.
