Baseball star Trevor Bauer is suing his sexual assault accuser Lindsey Hill once again, and the former Dodgers pitcher now claims he has broken the terms of his 2023 settlement.
In that agreement, which followed Hill’s accusations that Bauer beat her, strangled her unconscious and sodomized her without her consent, both sides agreed not to exchange money and not to say anything to the contrary in public.
However, Hill wrote in X in June that she had been given $300,000 to end the legal battle between them, and Bauer filed a lawsuit against her this week according to TMZ.
In total, Bauer cited 21 social media posts, as well as one podcast appearance, in which he claimed he had been paid. DailyMail.com has contacted Bauer’s lawyers for comment but has not yet received a response.
Bauer, who was suspended 194 games by MLB and has not played in the league since being accused of sexual assault by a total of four women, said in the documents that Hill received $300,000 in proceeds from the insurance policy, but that He believes the payment will be from his father’s policy.

He is now asking for $10,000 for each alleged breach, for a total of $220,000 in damages, plus attorneys’ fees.
Bauer and Hill admitted to having consensual sex in 2021, although Hill claims the pitcher went too far and sexually assaulted her.
Bauer was never charged in the case, or for that matter, as three other women accused him of sexual assault, and in October 2023, he and Hill settled respective defamation lawsuits against each other.
However, the league investigated Bauer about some of the allegations in 2022 and a neutral outside arbitrator upheld his suspension for a violation of MLB’s Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy.
Bauer said in August that MLB has pressured teams not to sign him following his suspension.
“Well, a team told us it’s not their decision, it’s an MLB decision,” Bauer wrote Monday on X in a conversation with Cincinnati Reds fans.
MLB disagrees with Bauer’s claim.
When contacted by DailyMail.com for a response, a league spokesperson shared a previously released statement about the pitcher: “Trevor Bauer has met all of his discipline and is an unrestricted free agent available to sign a contract with any team.”
Trevor Bauer helped the Red Devils beat New York 4-3 in an exhibition game in March.
He was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers in January 2023 when he finished serving his suspension.
While Bauer maintains his innocence, he has admitted to making “mistakes” in his personal life and insists he no longer has “casual sexual relationships.”
An Arizona woman was also indicted by a grand jury in Maricopa County on fraud and racketeering charges involving Bauer and another man, although the exact allegations remain unclear.
That woman, Darcy Adanna Esemonu, was charged in March with having “knowingly obtained a benefit from Marco Bresciant and Trevor Anthony Bauer, through fraudulent pretenses, representations, promises or material omissions,” according to the indictment filed with DailyMail.com.
Esemonu faces up to 16 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Bauer has pitched in Japan and, most recently, Mexico since being released by the Dodgers.
