Barstool Sports’ Frank “The Tank” Fleming’s fitness journey took a huge step forward on Tuesday when he ran for the first time in 25 years.

Fleming’s weight loss journey has been well documented by his peers as he makes progress daily.

“This is so inspiring, great work Tank,” another added.

“I like seeing the progress TANK,” said a third.

‘Major W for Frank. It should be an inspiration to many,” said a fourth.

“I don’t know how many of these random messages will reach the man but please tell him we’re rooting for him,” said a fifth. ‘You got this!!!!!’

“Congratulations champ (moving forward) is the way to go,” echoed a sixth.

In January, the host and blogger shared that he had lost 150 pounds and weighed less than 350 for the first time in 20 years.

“I’ve made good progress, I think,” he said at the time.

“I got very sick, and the only good thing is that I lost about 35 to 50 pounds during this six-week illness,” Fleming added.

Fleming went viral in 2017 after railing against a New Jersey Transit meltdown that caused him to miss the Mets’ home opener at Citi Field.

“It’s the absolute worst,” he shouted on a local news segment. “I won’t continue my game now because they are incompetent.”

He continued to express his distaste for public transportation in an interview with the New York Post, saying, “If you outsource it to private companies, it usually helps because they are forced to do better. I think they need a rival company. If it is run by the government, they can be as terrible as they want.”

Shortly afterwards, Barstool chef Dave Portnoy identified Fleming as a potential character and gave him a part-time job. As his following continued to grow, Fleming became a full-time employee at Barstool in 2020.
