Barry Humphries’ three-bedroom Sydney apartment has been sold, a year after the comedian’s death.
According The Daily TelegraphHumphries’ family accepted a $6.1 million offer from Romano and Patricia Lacono.
The property, which is located in the famous Quay West block, has panoramic views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
It has a spacious living and dining room and two bathrooms, one with a spa.
The 30th floor apartment is located in a complex that has a swimming pool, sauna, spa, parking and 24-hour concierge service.
The apartment had a guide price of $6.3 million.
Humphries purchased the property in 2004 from the late Ramsay Health Care founder Paul Ramsay for $2.5 million.
The Australian comedy legend died at Sydney’s Vincent Hospital last April at the age of 89.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Humphries’ family accepted a $6.1 million offer from Romano and Patricia Iacono.
Humphries had a long and debilitating battle with inoperable cancer before his death.
For weeks, the comedian had brushed aside concerns about the severity of his condition.
In February 2023, Humphries tripped on a rug while trying to reach a book and underwent surgery at St Vincent’s, where he was readmitted before dying.
The property, which is located in the famous Quay West block, has panoramic views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
It has a spacious living and dining room and two bathrooms, one with a spa.
“He was completely himself until the very end, never losing his brilliant mind, unique wit and generosity of spirit,” his family said in a statement.
Dame Edna Everage remains one of Humphries’ most identifiable inventions.
Humphries was also a successful musical theatre actor, a talented landscape artist, film producer, author and screenwriter.
A state memorial was held at the Sydney Opera House last December following her tragic death.
