Lauren Brant and Barry Hall have come under fire for their revealing home birth photo shoot to announce the arrival of their fourth child, Clay.
Over the weekend, the couple shared a series of images showing them cradling Clay in a birthing pool lit with red lights, as well as Lauren on a bed cuddling the newborn while a container of placenta sat next to them.
‘CLAY’, the parents titled the series of images.
“Our son was born on July 20, 2024 at 8:33pm in our loving arms at home. It was magical,” the post continued.
“We are all in the most beautiful bubble of love and our amazing community holds us up and supports us. We look forward to sharing our home birth story with you.”
Commenters were quick to criticise the couple for revealing too much in the photos.
“The birthing pool is too much… it reminds me of a horror movie,” wrote one.
