According to Rivaldo, Sergio Agüero would be a ‘coup’ for Barcelona, who says Argentine striker Lionel Messi’s signature could convince him to stay at Camp Nou.
The Manchester City record scorer ends a 10-year spell at Etihad Stadium with trophies when his contract expires in June.
Barça is one of a host of clubs associated with the 32-year-old, and Rivaldo believes his arrival in Catalonia could help fellow countryman Lionel Messi make a decision about his own future.

Laporta’s re-election as club chairman has given Barça fans hope that Messi will stay, the Argentinian had a very successful period in his first term.
City did not offer Agüero a new contract after another campaign ravaged by gnawing injuries.
