Barcelona ‘contact Real Zaragoza about the signing of Luis Suarez in an emergency … but Watford can block every move for their loan striker’
- Watford striker Luis Suarez is a seasonal loan to Real Zaragoza in Spain
- Barcelona is considering approaching him due to prior injury problems
- However, the Hornets can block any movement of Barca for the 14-goal Colombian
Real Zaragoza striker Luis Suarez is considered by Barcelona to be a possible emergency to alleviate their injury crisis, but parent club Watford is set to prevent any possible transfer, according to Cadena Sur.
Barcelona is currently in an injury crisis with the Colombian Uruguayan namesake for the rest of the season, while Ousmane Dembele has also had a new muscle problem.
The club would like to use a clause that allows teams to sign a player from another Spanish side in the event of an injury in that position at Suarez, who has 14 goals in 24 matches in the second layer, their main goal.

Suarez, 22, joined the Watford Youth Academy in 2017, but does not yet have a senior appearance for the club and has lent time to fellow Spanish parties Valladolid and Gimnastic.
Its sparkling shape has helped Zaragoza rise to third place in the Segunda Division this season.
Barcelona in particular has few attack options after the departure of January for the young couple Carles Perez and Abel Ruiz.
