Barcelona reportedly hopes to make a sensational deal to re-sign Neymar over the summer, which would mean Antoine Griezmann is going the other way.
The Frenchman only joined Atletico Madrid for £ 108 million last summer, but the Catalan club is ready to let him go to help fund their move for Neymar.
Reports in Spain have claimed that Barcelona has made Neymar and Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez their priority and will explore the possibility of concluding swap deals for the players.
Antoine Griezmann’s career in Barcelona may be over, even though he only joined last summer
Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho have been mentioned as potential makeweights, but according to Sky Sports Griezmann is offered to PSG in an attempt to seal Neymar’s long-awaited return.
Sky Sports claims Barcelona appreciates Griezmann in the region of £ 90 million and would like to sell it regardless of whether neither the player nor PSG are enthusiastic about their swap deal proposal.
Griezmann has not lived up to expectations since signing Atletico, scoring only 14 times in 37 games in all competitions.
The Frenchman will reportedly be offered to PSG in an offer to finance the move from Barcelona to Neymar
However, Neymar would be worth significantly more at £ 135 million, meaning Barcelona would most likely have to deposit some money if PSG considered their offer.
The Brazilian tried to return to Barcelona last summer, but was told by PSG chiefs that he would not be sold.
It has been reported a lot that Barcelona will spark their interest in him again in the summer and boss Quique Setien was encouraged to let the deal happen through his own son.
Barcelona has also made Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez a priority this summer
24-year-old Laro Setien plays in the fourth level of Spanish football for UE Sant Andreu and participated in a Q&A on his Instagram account.
“I think Neymar is the best, so yes, Neymar please go to Barcelona,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
Neymar, who left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for a world record amount of £ 200 million, has a contract with the French champions until 2022.
Barcelona is also desperate to tie Lionel Messi to a new contract, although the Argentine star is in no hurry to extend his current deal, which has more than a year to go.
