Barbara Corcoran proved that imitation really is the highest form of flattery by recreating Martha Stewart’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.
The 74-year-old “Queen of New York real estate” has instagram to show the world – and the 81-year-old lifestyle guru – that she has what it takes to turn heads in swimwear.
The entrepreneur wowed as she posed in a white one-piece swimsuit and orange shawl similar to Martha’s, just days after the cooking guru became the oldest woman to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Congratulating her friend, Barbara joked that she “can’t cook,” but she can swim.

The Shark Tank star flashed her beaming smile as she sat cross-legged on a lounge chair with a glimpse of the Manhattan skyline in the background.
She captioned the snap: “I can’t cook, but I can swim.”
Barbara also shared a photo of Martha posing up a storm in her plunging one-piece, adding, “You saw Martha…but did you see me?”
The real estate mogul even got the stamp of approval from Martha herself.

Other stars such as Chrishell Stause, Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan showed their love for the Shark Tank star by calling Barbara “gorgeous” and “hot”.
The snap comes after it was revealed that Martha will be flaunting her stunning figure on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2023 issue.
The publication revealed its four cover stars on Monday morning, which also included Megan Fox, Kim Petras and Brooks Nader.
Barbara congratulated her boyfriend as she recreated the stunning photo. She also joked that although she ‘can’t cook’, she can swim.
Barbara also shared a photo of the kitchen guru posing up a storm in her plunging one-piece, adding, “You saw Martha…but did you see me?”

The cooking guru – who called it “historic” to pose for the magazine at her age – showed off her incredible physique throughout filming, donning 10 different swimsuits that left her body on full display.

A photo from the magazine – which hit newsstands May 18 – showed her standing in a red one-piece with a plunging neckline.
Another photo showed Martha lying on the beach in a beige ruffled swimsuit with an oversized straw hat, while another showed the TV personality in the water while wearing a silver zippered swimsuit and huge white sunglasses.
She was photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Punta Cana region of the Dominican Republic.
Reflecting on the experience, Martha explained that she “don’t think much about age”, but admitted that being part of the magazine at 81 was definitely a big deal for her.
‘When I heard I was going to be doing the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit I was like, ‘Oh that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I ever think of on a Sports Illustrated cover. Illustrated,” she said.

She added: “Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or success, but what people do, how people think, how people act is what is important and not your age.”
On Monday, she told the Today show about the work she did to ensure she looked her best in the months leading up to filming.
“I didn’t starve myself, but I didn’t eat bread or pasta for a few months. I went to Pilates every other day,” she explained.
“I live a clean life anyway. Good diet and good exercise and healthy skincare and all that, but it was kind of fun.
On Monday, she told the Today show about the work she did to ensure she looked her best in the months leading up to filming.
“I didn’t starve myself, but I didn’t eat bread or pasta for a few months. I went to Pilates every other day,” she explained.
She said it was “strange” posing in a bathing suit in front of “all these people,” but joked, “It turned out great.”
Martha added that she hoped people would feel “inspired” seeing her on the cover.
Other SI Swimsuit cover stars for 2023 include actress Megan, 36, Grammy-winning transgender singer Kim, 30, and model Brooks, 26.
In the past, Martha has been praised for her youthful appearance and glowing skin, which she attributes to diet, exercise and skincare.
Following her cover ad, critics accused her of plastic surgery.
Martha slammed the trolls and insisted her photos were unretouched, adding they were “incredibly accurate”.
“There are only a few naysayers who say, ‘The images are over-retouched.’ But they’re not,” she says Variety while discussing the shoot.
