Obama was dressed in a suit and had a drink in hand as he walked up the stairs from a multi-vehicle motorcade.
He has several famous friends and has been seen using Steven Spielberg’s jet in the past.
Obama may have been in Los Angeles to visit his two daughters, Sasha and Malia, who live in the southern California city.

Former President Barack Obama was followed by several members of his team.
He and other members of his detail were seen gathering by the jet’s ladder.
Van Nuys Airport is a public airport in North Los Angeles.
Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis met Leonardo DiCaprio at the airport last year after a trip to the Bahamas.
DiCaprio, who was waiting to board his own private jet, gave Kunis a fist bump before exchanging what appeared to be a few friendly words with her.
The three gathered at a private jet terminal struck an ironic note, as all of them are noted for their vocal support of ecological issues.
More than five years ago, Kutcher invested in BlackJet, an on-demand private jet startup with others including Jay Z, Will Smith and Marc Benioff. It closed in 2016.
It is not clear if Kutcher owns the plane Obama was boarding or if it was leased.
