On Tuesday, the 10-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in a serious condition after he suddenly collapsed at the Wattawa Heights public school in Bankstown, in western Sydney.
Police initially declared the school playground a crime scene after reports that the child had been beaten.
But the boy's relatives, now in a stable condition, told Daily Mail Australia that he had been playing with friends and that they did not believe he had not been attacked.

Police confirmed on Wednesday morning that the boy was suffering from a pre-existing medical condition.
In a statement, police said they had spoken to the other students involved in the alleged incident and that they did not expect to take any further action.
"The police were told that the boy was involved in a game with a group of other students when they allegedly assaulted him and fell backwards," the statement said.
