Bam Margera was released from a psychiatric hospital on Wednesday, after being held in psychiatric detention 5150, and went straight to a drug rehabilitation center run by Lamar Odom.
The 43-year-old TV personality, sources said TMZwas personally greeted by Odom, 43, as he was discharged from hospital and headed for rehab at one of the former NBA’s Odom Wellness Treatment Centers.
The Viva La Bam star is currently undergoing rehab at one of Odom’s facilities, and once that process is complete, she will head to another location owned by Odom.
Odom visited the former Jackass at the medical facility where he was being held on Tuesday to offer to stay at one of its facilities during a time of crisis.
Odom was ‘serious’ about his offer to help Margera, insiders say TMZadding that the former MTV star was “receptive to going to rehab” and “hugged” with Odom at the reunion.

Odom has opened a trio of processing facilities nationwide, two of which are based in Southern California, the outlet reported. They include Project West in San Diego, Wavelengths in Huntington Beach, CA, and Gold Bridge Addiction Center in Louisburg, Kansas.
It was not immediately clear which facility Margera was taken to after being discharged from hospital.
Insiders told the outlet that Margera is focused on rehabilitating for the sake of his five-year-old son Phoenix, who he shares with ex-wife Nicole Boyd, 39.
On Sunday, Margera was located by authorities at a Trejo’s Tacos facility in Los Angeles and placed in psychiatric detention at 5150 after taking to social media threatening to end his life if he could not find his son.
Margera took to social media on Thursday in a clip he later deleted, saying he would “smoke crack” until he died unless he could see his son.
“I haven’t seen Phoenix in two fucking months,” Margera said. “I have to wake up every day knowing that I probably won’t be able to talk to him or see him.”
In the clip, Margera slammed Boyd for not letting him talk to their son, as well as his parents April and Phil Margera, saying they tricked him into drinking.
“I’m gonna smoke crack with the bums on the fucking boardwalk until I’m dead unless you deliver the fucking Phoenix to me,” he said in the clip. ‘Go to work Nikki, or anyone who wants to help. I want Phoenix.’

Margera’s attorney, Peter W. Thompson, said last week TMZ Wednesday said Boyd had taken steps to cut Margera from Phoenix over the past two months amid their ongoing litigation.
Boyd did not allow Margera to communicate with her child by phone or FaceTime, Thompson said, adding that the last time the Viva La Bam star had contact with her child was March 29 during an in-person visit to California.
This interaction did not go well, as Margera was seen in a clip on the site arguing with Boyd at a restaurant in Burbank, California over his time with the child. The Jackass alum was seen arguing with Boyd in the clip, telling him, “Phoenix has a mind of its own.” Let him have his own mind!
He was later arrested for public intoxication following the incident.
That was the last time Margera had any communication with her son, Thompson told the outlet.
Boyd and Margera separated in 2021, and in September of that year Boyd went to court to seek full custody of their son.
Boyd filed in Los Angeles to legally separate from Margera last February, claiming the cause was irreconcilable differences, and asked the court to award him spousal support, as well as legal and physical custody of their child.
Thompson told the outlet that Margera and Boyd unsuccessfully tried to set up a routine where he would talk to his son via FaceTime, but it never materialized.
Margera’s camp said it finds it “completely unreasonable” that Boyd is not picking up the FaceTime or phone calls he made because it poses no danger to the child, the outlet reported.

Margera has made headlines in recent months amid a series of legal troubles, including an altercation with his brother, who accused him of drug use. He denied the charges
Margera complained to the court about the issue and Boyd replied that she was fine with him visiting the child, as long as they were in California, where she resides, and he be sober.
Sources told the outlet that Margera continues to pay Boyd’s house and car expenses, and that he remains open to reaching an agreement with Boyd and his attorneys for any level of communication.
Boyd’s attorney, David Glass, cited Margera’s conduct in his response to the outlet.
“From Nikki’s perspective, Bam’s continued instability is what makes it difficult for her to connect with Phoenix,” Glass said. “But, Nikki remains open to regular FaceTime communication, as long as Bam is not tampered with during calls, and as long as Bam does not disparage Nikki during calls.”
