A woman fights for her life after she loses both her legs and an arm in a horrific machine accident.
The woman, in her 60s, is said to have been operating a tractor with a forage harvester when the accident occurred around noon on Thursday in Balladean.
She was airlifted from the estate in the southwestern part of the state to be treated at Princess Alexandria Hospital for her significant and life-threatening injuries.
“The victim suffered significant multiple trauma to her extremities but was conscious and able to speak to paramedics, who were able to stabilize the woman,” Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman Stephen Johns told 7News.

‘I’ve never seen or heard anything like it. It’s just a miracle she had the wits to grab that phone real quick and get that help to her.
“Otherwise it would be an outright tragedy here today.”
The woman is still in critical condition as occupational health and safety officials investigate the incident.
