Perrie Edwards has revealed she called a former X-factor judge “every five seconds for advice” while joining Gregg James on the Radio 1 breakfast show on Friday.
The singer, 30, who has just released her debut solo single, Forget About Us, was tasked with calling out to her best friends during a game and guessing whether they were sitting or standing.
He opted to call Cheryl Cole, 40, telling her: “I think I could call my Chezza or Cheryl Cole.”
“I would say a few years ago I probably called her every five seconds for advice and just to help me with life in general.”
Perrie rose to fame in Little Mix after forming on The X Factor in 2011 alongside Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson before disbanding in 2022, following Jesy’s departure in 2020.

She confessed: ‘I am very proud of what I have done and created. I wanted it to be fun more than anything else and showcase my singing through ballads and big vocal numbers.
Before revealing his plans to tour with a live band: ‘Having people singing your songs is the best natural high in the world. “I’m really excited to see how fans react to my music now.”
