Balenciaga: Ruby Tuesday Matthews slams fellow influencers for staying silent on teddy bear bondage

A prominent Australian fashion blogger has slammed influencers for refusing to publicly condemn Balenciaga following the fashion house’s recent BDSM child photo scandal.
Balenciaga triggered outrage with its 2022 Holiday advertising campaign, which depicted children holding teddy bears that were dressed in bondage attire, and its Spring/Summer 2023 campaign featuring pages from a US Supreme Court decision on child pornography laws.
The fashion house apologized for the images of the teddy bears in a long statement Monday. However, they insist on claiming full responsibility. It was not involved in the photoshoot that featured child porn legislation.

Balenciaga is a popular brand with A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian. Two shocking images of two young girls holding a teddy bear dressed in bondage gear were removed from the website’s gift shop section.
