Scott Westwood, known to his nearly one million TikTok followers as Kazascoot, bravely spoke out about his struggles with hair loss to Rob Wood, owner of Novo Cabelo salons, saying: “I don’t recognise myself in the mirror anymore.”
The aspiring actor said he had been forced to shave his head over the past few years as his hair had become unbearably thin on top, despite his young age.
In the video posted to TikTok, which now has more than 1.8 million views, fans were stunned by the dramatic transformation, with many of his new admirers saying: “I can’t believe how handsome he looks.”

Scott said in the clip: ‘Even though I’ve been shaving my head for about a tenth of my life, I still don’t recognise myself without hair.
“And every time I think of myself in any situation, it’s always with a head full of hair.”
To which Rob consoled him: “I’m really excited about this. The most important thing is that it will give you back that image you want to have of yourself.”
According to Rob, the hair system can last between four and six months, but it needs to be re-applied every three to four weeks.
Scott went on to say that his hair has cost him acting jobs and the chance to find love.
‘Losing hair is out of your control and many people say you should just shave it off and accept it, but it has had consequences.
‘I’m an actor and I’ve lost jobs because of my hair. I’ve had women not want to go out with me because of my hair. I’ve had people look at me and think, oh, I guess I’ll have to wear a hat today.
‘(People who say “accept it”) are the ones who haven’t had to deal with it every day.’

Rob told MailOnline: “It all started 10 years ago. One of the girls who worked for me, her brother-in-law, was going through a really tough time because of her hair loss.
‘So, I did a little bit of searching on YouTube and looking for information to see what was actually available and what we could do, and that’s when I found hair systems.’
After trying the hair system on his colleague’s brother-in-law, Rob decided to open Novo Cabelo and specialize in treating hair loss in people of all ages and genders.
Reflecting on the transformations, Rob said: “It’s amazing. Because on the one hand, I’m just doing my job, but I love it.”
“I never get tired of doing it. I just find that it’s something so simple that can really change people’s lives and the way they see themselves.
“The way they feel inside. Being able to perform that service is a great blessing and a real privilege.”
People went wild over his transformation online, with one user saying: “I can’t believe how handsome he looks with that hair, it’s amazing.”
