A bald man looks unrecognisable after an “incredible” transformation that led to him being compared to Star Trek actor Chris Pine.
Lee, 41, is battling hair loss after having to take morphine pills following a spinal cord injury after a slipped disc in his lower back.
In an attempt to revitalize her hairline, Lee visited Novo Cabelo salon in Durham to have a hair system fitted.
Hair systems are non-surgical hair replacement products that can be used to cover hair loss and can be made of real human hair or synthetic hair woven onto a base material such as lace or polyurethane.
Since this was Lee’s first time undergoing a hair system, Novo Cabelo founder and creator Rob Wood said he didn’t want to give his client something that would be too complex to care for after the procedure.

After removing a pair of sunglasses to reveal the transformation, Lee couldn’t believe his eyes as his previously sparse hairline now had a sleek short cut on top that showed off a full head of hair.

Lee was so shocked by the difference that he described Rob’s work as “ridiculous” to get his hair looking so sleek.
He looked so unrecognizable compared to before that Lee even joked, “Who is this guy?” after inspecting his new cut.
He added: “It’s crazy. There’s a big difference, isn’t there?”
A note at the end of the salon video said Lee would need to readjust her hair system every three weeks, and that the treatment should last between four and six months.
Reacting to the dramatic transformation, users were amazed by the difference and posted: “Chris Pine vibes.”
“I think what you do is amazing.”
“Incredible, it took 10 years off the boy’s life.”
‘My husband had surgery a few weeks ago and his confidence has increased enormously. He is constantly looking in the mirror! Well done, guys!’
‘Wow, look how young he looks.’
“It really brings out her eyes.”
This comes after another client was left stunned after having her hair done by the same salon.
Gethin, 40 (pictured), came to Novo Cabelo looking for a new look after his hair had been thinning for years.
Gethin was close to tears when his new haircut was revealed and joked: “I never thought I’d see that day again.”
Before Rob worked his magic, 40-year-old Gethin’s hair was thinning on top and he was forced to style it into a combo-style.
He revealed that his hair had been thinning for years, but since his 40th birthday last February he had been trying to hide his hair loss.
He said: (My hair) started to thin out. Obviously, at the back, you can see on the forehead, obviously, there’s a lot of hair loss as well.
“You get used to the same old thing. I guess that’s the only way I can explain it.”
Filled with tears of joy, Gethin was speechless when she saw her new appearance in the mirror.
The beaming 40-year-old said: “Oh my God. I never thought I’d see that day again. God, it’s absolutely amazing, I love it, I love it.”
