Just a month after Baker Mayfield signed a mammoth contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFL star’s wife, Emily, gave birth to their daughter.
The quarterback, 29, and Emily announced the arrival of baby girl Kova Jade Mayfield on Saturday.
Emily took to Instagram to share photos of Kova snuggled in Baker’s arms while her adorable dog, Fergus, looked on.
She wrote: ‘The girl joined us on Tuesday night, just before 7.30pm
‘She is truly everything we pray for, and more. We are enjoying life as a family of 4 – Fergus is very friendly and curious. Dad is so in love and mom wants to pause time forever and make these days last forever.

Baker and Emily tied the knot in a private ceremony in Malibu in July 2019. Before that, they had been engaged for six months since their first date.
