Bachelor Matt Agnew claims he’s just ‘friends’ with croissant queen Kate Reed after romance rumors spark
Former Bachelorette star Dr. Matt Agnew has stopped dating rumors of Kate Reed.
The astrophysicist, 35, shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday of himself and the Croissant Queen at a Formula 1 racing event in Melbourne.
Matt referred to Kate as his ‘girlfriend’ by captioning the post: ‘Get a friend who can explain F1 to you’.
In the photo, the reality TV star couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he posed next to Kate, who is known as the “croissant queen” thanks to the popularity of her bakery, Lune.
The post comes after the couple sparked romance rumors after they stepped out at the Glamor on the Grid event in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

Matt looked dashing in a black suit while Kate, a former Formula One engineer, stunned in a sparkly maxi dress with a thigh-high slit.
Kate is the owner of the famous Melbourne Croissanterie Lawn.
Her French pastries, made daily at her Collins Street bakery, were once called the best in the world by The New York Times.
The speculation comes after data scientist was rumored to be dating former MasterChef star Khanh Ong.

The pair’s close friendship, which includes “date nights” and holding hands, is often mistaken for a romantic relationship, even though Dr. Agnew is not gay.
Matt said on the Fest podcast last month that he and Khanh want to normalize platonic male affection.
“It’s the lack of affection straight men show to other men that people assume there must be something sexual in there,” he said.

Being affectionate and gentle with your friends, and guys especially need to do more of this. Everyone should be comfortable enough in their sexuality that they feel no discomfort in showing affection, men or women.
Matt went on to say that he enjoyed cuddling with Khanh when they were both single and in need of companionship.
Matt first rose to fame on The Bachelor Australia in 2019 and chose Chelsie McLeod as his winner.
But the couple split after only two months together.
