Sam Wood has shared his heartbreak over the loss of his beloved dog.

The former Bachelor star shared a touching post on Instagram on Monday revealing the loss of her loyal dog Hendrix.

‘Oh, Hendo. “For more than a third of my life I woke up to our walks and this morning you weren’t there,” he began.

‘You were my family before I had one. You were our family when we became one. ‘The patience and love you showed our girls and the friendship you gave me were unwavering and unsurpassed,’ she continued.

“So many tears and we will miss you every day, beautiful brown Hendrix.”

Sam was inundated with supportive comments from fans, with one writing: “I’m so sorry for your loss.” We will all miss seeing Hendo out for walks. We will miss him. You’ll always have the memories.’

The fitness mogul is married to Snezana Wood (née Markoski), whom he met on the third season of The Bachelor in 2015.

Listed with a dazzling price guide of $16,500,000 million to $18,000,000 million, the massive luxury home is an exquisitely preserved art deco property.

Features include luxurious gardens, a swimming pool, tennis court and an old-school paneled bar.

According to the report, the listing “disappeared” from real estate sites this week, but as of Saturday it was still advertised for sale on Realestate.com.

It was last sold in 1980 for $315,000 and will be leased to tenants in 2023 for a whopping $2,400 a week.

In 2022 he sold his fitness program, Sam Wood’s 28, to genetics group myDNA for $71 million.

The businessman continues to invest in the company and owns a five percent stake.

He has also amassed a $10 million real estate portfolio.

His property portfolio includes his $4 million home in Elsternwick, which he shares with his wife Snezana and their four children, and a $3.6 million holiday home in Mt Martha.

Wood made his entry into the property market in 2014, when he bought a two-bedroom, 1728-square-metre unit on Carnegie’s Koornang Road for $477,500.

In 2017, Wood purchased a three-bedroom investment property in Broadford for $295,000 and has since seen its value rise to almost $500,000.

In 2018, around the same time Wood acquired the Elsternwick property, he also invested $531,000 in another investment property in Upwey.
