Single star Cassie Randolph first spoke out after her ex Colton Underwood revealed he struggled with his sexuality during their turbulent years-long relationship that ended in stalking and harassment claims.
While she didn’t directly comment on Colton, it was clear the 25-year-old reality star has read the plethora of supportive messages she’s received since his coming-out story broke.
“ Thank you all for the kind comments and messages, ” Cassie wrote on her Instagram Stories Friday alongside a heart emoji – while also taking the opportunity to link to her YouTube channel. Cassie clearly needed some time, letting fans know that she had “decided to take the week off” amid Colton’s news.

Earlier this week, Cassie posted a video to Instagram from a luxury resort in Cozumel, Mexico, where she is currently vacationing with her bestie Lin Salas and other friends.
The star won Season 23 of The Bachelor in 2019 and accepted Colton’s last rose.
But despite a romantic start, Colton, 29, became Cassie’s worst nightmare when he was going to stalk her, harass her and her friends with fake phone numbers and even put a tracking device in her car, according to court documents.

To add a new twist to their ill-fated relationship, the Bachelor star revealed in a bombshell interview on Tuesday that he was confused about his sexuality throughout their relationship that lasted over a year and ended in May. 2020.
Colton, 29, wrote in his autobiography that he wondered if he was gay in elementary school and that he was struggling with his emotions. He told Good Morning America that despite his sexuality, he was in love with Cassie during their relationship and apologized to her during the interview.
‘I’ve run away from myself for a long time. I’ve been hating myself for a long time and I’m gay. And I came to terms with that earlier this year and processed it, ”he told GMA.

On her trip to the Mexican island, less than two weeks before her 26th birthday, Cassie posted a video following her brother Landon walking from a wooden balcony to a dock and into the clear blue Caribbean waters at Private Paradise Villa.
Her best friend and fellow Biola University graduate Lin also posted photos of a cabana at the resort this week, sipping skinny margaritas with Cassie, her husband and friends, and enjoying yoga sessions at sunrise – although Cassie didn’t brave the early morning to join her and watch the sun rise over the Caribbean Sea.
In her Instagram story on Thursday, Lin wrote that she is ‘forever ignored by the group chat about morning exercise’ and shared the sea views from her ‘morning exercise session’ yoga class.

The resort’s website says it is ‘blurring the lines between a luxury mega villa and an amusement park resort’ and boasts a ‘250-foot water slide – with Rock & Roll sound and light show – that travels through the house.’
Although Cassie appears to be putting the debacle behind her and relaxing while on vacation in Cozumel, a source close to her said the Randolph family are concerned about Colton’s alleged troubling behavior last year – detailed in a restraining order they issued against him in September. – forgotten amid the celebration of his coming out.
In a 9/11 lawsuit, Cassie’s lawyer wrote that Colton “ goes to Mrs. Randolph’s apartment building several times a day, ” spying on her to catch other male visitors, was seen in an alley outside her parents’ house at 2 a.m. at night, and ‘uses alias phone numbers to anonymously send intimidating text messages to Ms. Randolph and her friends at any time of the day. ‘

The restraining order alleges that Colton first pretended to receive the messages, and later admitted to sending them himself.
According to the documents, Cassie even found “ a tile trace stuck to the bottom of her car’s rear bumper, ” which Colton reportedly admitted when she confronted him.

‘Because of the history of his behavior (which escalated from intimidating and obsessive phone calls and messages, to obsessive walks to her apartment building, to hanging out in front of her parents’ window at two (2) in the morning, to placing a tracking device). .. Ms. Randolph fears for her safety and the safety of her family and friends, ”the filing said.
Screenshots of texts Colton sent to Cassie, included in the application, showed the couple’s unrest.
“ You would drop Linda in the blink of an eye if another ‘opportunity’ presents itself, ” the Bachelor star wrote.
‘F *** you say that. Linda is my girlfriend. So damn it, ”Cassie replied.
“Because you are a selfish person who is not ready to be loved,” Colton wrote. “I loved you as much as I could for two years and now I’m sitting here feeling stupid. You hurt me more than words. I’ve always done nothing but be there for you and you still respect me all the time. ‘

In another text in the documents, Colton wrote: “I am sober. I have also lived on the toxic path for almost 2 years.
Looking back at all the red flags I ignored [throughout] our relationship is what kills me… I promise you I’m not crazy. ‘
And in text messages Colton reportedly admitted to sending with fake numbers, he wrote, “Hi, Cassie. Do you like to play games? Then let’s play some games. Let’s just say we used to be family friends. Be young. Have fun… you will only regret how you interact with people later on. ‘
Colton also reportedly texted Lin from a fake number in an apparent effort to drive a wedge between the two friends, writing, ‘Do you think you know Cassie? Do you really know she’s just doing this for fame? ‘
The former couple settled out of court in November, and Colton apologized in his GMA interview on Tuesday.

“I’d just say I’m deeply sorry,” said the Bachelor star.
‘I’m sorry for all the pain and emotional stress I’ve caused. I wish it hadn’t happened like this. I wish I had been brave enough to fix myself before destroying someone else. ‘
Colton received a flood of support following his shocking revelation of his sexuality – though some fellow reality stars noted the impact the news could have on his ex.
Season 15 Bachelorette contestant Mike Johnson tweeted, ‘I feel for Cassie, happy for Colton’ after the news broke.
Cassie may have gotten a tip for her luxury getaway from fellow undergraduate competition Demi Burnett, who also posted to her Instagram five weeks ago from the luxury villa in Cozumel.
Burnett told The Sun that Colton should be held ‘responsible’ for his behavior towards his ex before being ‘celebrated’ for coming out.
‘I know what that feels like and I am very proud of it. But I want to make sure everyone respects Cassie who’s been through a lot and was very hurt by Colton, ”she said.
I know she never would have filed that restraining order unless she had no choice. It must have been terrifying to her.
‘And I don’t want anyone to forget that. We can praise Colton for his bravery and come out, but he should be held accountable for what he did to Cassie. ‘
